well hello 2011

Laurell k.Hamilton'S 20th book from the Anita Blake series "Hit list" comes out in June this year. I have to say that I'm so excited about this book that I'm re-reading books 1 - 19 and loving them just as much as the first time I read them :)

a little while ago I was surfing the net when I came across  an Anita Blake wiki  called "All things Anita"  Its a great website however there's discussion on the forum  talking about  people missing the old Anita Blake, and that in the newer books the character is vastly different.
I refuse to agree with most of the comments as I think that Laurell k. Hamilton has created a character that is growing and developing just like any other person. Nothing stays the same and the series is spread over a couple years; I think that  the character has to grow just like we do, we are constantly changing things about ourselves  and if anyone disagrees then I'll ask what about 'new years resolutions' an annual re-occurrence where we purposely set of to change something for the following year.
so to conclude if we can change why cant a fictional character?
