well hello 2011

Laurell k.Hamilton'S 20th book from the Anita Blake series "Hit list" comes out in June this year. I have to say that I'm so excited about this book that I'm re-reading books 1 - 19 and loving them just as much as the first time I read them :)

a little while ago I was surfing the net when I came across  an Anita Blake wiki  called "All things Anita"  Its a great website however there's discussion on the forum  talking about  people missing the old Anita Blake, and that in the newer books the character is vastly different.
I refuse to agree with most of the comments as I think that Laurell k. Hamilton has created a character that is growing and developing just like any other person. Nothing stays the same and the series is spread over a couple years; I think that  the character has to grow just like we do, we are constantly changing things about ourselves  and if anyone disagrees then I'll ask what about 'new years resolutions' an annual re-occurrence where we purposely set of to change something for the following year.
so to conclude if we can change why cant a fictional character?

going book crazy!

Cover of "Shiver"Cover of Shiver
Hello my whatever readers  so I'm actually going book crazy this summer! Now if your wondering what the martian is "book crazy" I'll explain, book crazy is when you get carried away with reading several books at a time and can't stop.
You may ask how I got into my little predicament? well it starts by reading a series and then getting halfway and realising that the next book in that series doesn't come out for a year; at which point I've already succumbed to my little book demons that demand I keep reading so I start something new; at which point halfway through that series the book I've waited a year for comes out and Im reading two series simultaneously. Want some examples here's the  current book crazy list : I read books 1-4 of "the vampire diaries" and whilst waiting for books 5-7 i began reading "Shiver" by Maggie Steifvater; whilst waiting for the second book "Linger", I started reading the "Watcher series" by Lilith Saintcrow to fill the time just because the demons were riding. This led me to another of her series called "Strange angels" and i was in heaven until last night when i finished both "Linger" and the third book in the "Strange angels novels" called "Jealousy".
So Tah-dah here i am blogging my book crazy brains out looool.9781595142900.jpg
Now whilst I know for a fact that I'm absolutely off my rocker and "book crazy" I however DO NOT believe i am the only one, so I ask you to tell me your own book crazy predicament. You can do this by commenting below or sending me an e-mail to deauvalwallace@gmail.com

P.S have any of you read Natasha rhodes " kayla steele series"? I'm about to add the 3rd book in that series to my book crazy problem.
I will also start  reviewing all of these on my under construction books, books and stuff page very soon.

helllloooo out there

Well let me just say howdy doody from the wonderful of whatever.
I set this up with the idea that i would just start blogging away however @1 am what do you blog about. I recently got my first tattoo and its at the stage where its partly scabby and flaking - yum right loool.
Im already considering another 1 I got the idea whilst roaming the internet on another blog called The morning news (thats the direct link to the post) basically its a post on how to give a tattoo (very detailed btw) and @ the end of it the writer successfully tattoos a bee onto the persons knee and entitled it the bees knees - awesome right ?
So now I want a bee tattooed onto my knee so that I also may be the bees knees loool.
Now I know its been done so why do I want it you ask? well i want it not for its originality or grand design but for it wackiness; the glorious whacky anecdote I would have to tell when people ask me why a bee on my knee?( southern bell accent).

I'm open to suggestions on anything original / whacky to have for my second tattoo
